Summary

Archive or Purge wizard has been scheduled to run everyday at 12:00 AM, but, system archived at 1200 only on first day.

Subsequent runs started at very different times.

Observed pattern and found that next run is 12:00AM + time lasted in seconds, that is, if first run started at 1200 AM and it took 15000 seconds then second run will be at 1200 AM + 15000 seconds (250 minutes, 4hrs and 10 minutes) = 0410 AM

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure Archive or Purge wizard to archive certain classes which were resolved N number of days ago. 
2. Schedule process to archive/purge 10000 items every day at 12:00 AM. 
3. After two days, open interval statistics and make a note that second run did not start at 12:00 AM as expected.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution

Apply HFix-29465.
