Summary

When a dynamic select is in read only mode, it can show the incorrect property value if the source list of the dynamic select has changed since the value was set.

User has noticed this specifically when creating Assign type activities, as the value displayed in the assignment type field is incorrect.

If an operator checks out and makes changes it is possible the property value will be changed without their knowledge and the configuration corrupted.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the out-of-the-box (OOTB) flow "OverallSLA". 
2. Open the assignment properties and note that the assignment type is "Connect".
3. Close the flow. 
4. Create a new activity called "ANewActivity", that is, that starts with an "A" so it is alphabetically before "Connect". On the security tab set the usage to "Assign". 
5. Go back the OverallSLA and again open the assignment properties. The assignment type now shows incorrectly as "ANewActivity". 
6. Private checkout "OverallSLA". The checked out version has now saved with incorrect assignment type.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. 

Resolution

This is supposed to be fixed in a future release.
