Summary

The user has mandatory fields on parent screen, on click of submit button validation is been thrown. When errors are on the parent screen user is not able add attachments.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure a form with some properties and validations.
2. Also configure a button to attach a file as modal local action.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error : User configuration.
User has configured custom error section, when we launch the attachment modal window, than ProcessAction activity clear the page set messages from clipboard. However in UI, error messages were displayed in error section. Hence it is assuming that errors are there so it is not processing the action, than it displaying the busy indicator.

Resolution

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior: 

After removing the custom error section, then it is working as expected. We have suggested user to make the changes to design. When user launches the modal window, it has to hide the error section from UI.
