Attachments do not open in an offline mobile device

Summary
On clicking the attachments in an offline mobile iOS device, the attachments do not open.
Error Messages
JS: Failed to open attachment: Unable to download file because of error: unknown.
Steps to Reproduce
- Add attachments using the out-of-the-box Attachment section in an offline mobile device.
- Click the attachment.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Offline synchronization failed after an attachment was added. This was because the PRFile API was configured to synchronize attachments with Repositories to store attachments. However, this incorrectly invoked the Work-.AttachFile activity with a Null attachment InputStream.
Resolution
This feature is implemented in Pega Platform 8.3.2.
