Summary

As user was trying to test Queuing functionality for Service REST, they were facing issues with Authentication, as the Agent is unable to invoke pxRetreiveReportData which is part of the service activity.

Error Messages

Only authenticated client may start the activity

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create an activity which invokes the activity pxRetreiveReportData.
2. Invoke the activity created using an Agent without selecting "ByPass Authentication".

Root Cause

As the activity "pxRetrieveReportData" requires authentication to be executed, Agent which is trying to execute the underlying activity should Bypass authentication.

Resolution

Check "Bypass activity authentication" in the 'Security' tab of the agent, make sure that no access group has been provided, leave the access group field blank.

​Changes will not reflect immediately, as Agent Schedule has to be updated by the 'Master Agent', which might take 10 minutes which is a default time.
