Authentication Error when running BIX from command line



Executing BIX extraction from the command line is failing, when trying to authenticate the BIX user.

Error Messages

ERROR - unable to authenticate session for: BIXUSERID

Steps to Reproduce

Run BIX from the command line.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules.  The password specified for the BIX user on the command line was not the password defined within PRPC for this user.


Make the following change to the operating environment:

​Change the command line password to match the password defined within PRPC, for the BIX user.
