Auto-Complete control display in Chrome browser

User created a section with an auto-complete control, configured clipboard as data source.

Functionality was working properly on both Internet Explorer and Chrome browser.

In Internet Explorer, display was correct, but In Chrome, it will pop up and the values are displayed in the full screen(overlapping the section).

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a section.
  2. Include auto-complete control, configure it.
  3. Try with Chrome browser.

Root Cause

Reported issue points to the function,, that determines if it is a touch device or not.

The determination is made using the following function in pzpega_ui_env.js

(function () {
var isTouch = !!(('ontouchstart' in window) || window.DocumentTouch && document instanceof DocumentTouch); = function(){
return isTouch;

By default, 'isTouchAble' values is set as true and application is rendered in the mobile mode causing the reported issue.

Perform the following local-change:

Override the function, 'isTouchAble' in userworkform to always return false, this resolves the issue.

<script> = function(){
return false;
