Auto Complete does not invoke setValue when pasting a value

On Copy and Paste of the autocomplete suggestion value, the property configured to Set value in the autocomplete control is not set on the Clipboard and the UI.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an autocomplete control.
  2. In the autocomplete control's General tab, include a few properties.
  3. Select the Set value checkbox.
  4. At runtime, Copy and Paste the result value directly in to the autocomplete control.

Root Cause

To set the value which is included in the autocomplete configuration, a setValue event must be initiated. In the autocomplete control, the setValue is triggered only when the user clicked the suggested options dropdown. When the user performed a Copy and Paste of the suggested value and not click the suggested results dropdown, the setValue event is not triggered. Hence, the property value is not updated.

Perform the following local-change:
  1. Invoke a data transform onChange of the autocomplete.
  2. In the data transform, set the property value based on the autocomplete value.
