Auto-Generated XML generates Mapping mode to literal on standard

Summary



Set mapping mode to standard, but when auto-generated XML is checked, mapping mode is set to literal.

Behavior of mapping mode did not reflect correctly.

Could not find other options to auto-generate XML with a mapping mode of normal.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add any property to case type.
  2. Go to Designer studio > Records> XML Stream > Create.
  3. Refer the case type property created above with "Mapping Type : Standard".
  4. Tap XML tab and check XML Source.

Expected: "m='standard'"
Actual: "m='standard'literal"


Root Cause



When user generates a XML Stream rule via Connect SOAP Integration wizard, initially the mode is set to literal in XML tab of the Stream rule where as the mapping mode drop down is displayed as Standard in the mapping tab of user data modal window for that element.

Resolution



Apply HFix-33128.
