Autocomplete dropdown detaches from control when form scrolls

SA-12417

Summary

If an autocomplete control is placed on a form, down arrow is pressed to see the autocomplete dropdown results and scroll bar is used to scroll the form behind the control, then the autocomplete control detaches from the control and always stays stationary on the screen. This only happens on the user application, and not in the Developer Studio & base PRPC which runs on the SFAi framework that the application was built on. This issue was first reported on a mobile device, but is replicable on a desktop running IE.

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. This issue is due to the button in the fixed div of the New harness due to which the position of the autocomplete list becomes obsolute.
