Autocomplete results appear above control when page is scrolled



This issue appears to be caused by the page scrolling.

When a user needs to select an approver, this can be done by a modal window with  
Auto-Complete control.
Auto-Complete contains a list of users where 1 can be selected.

On longer pages the user needs to scroll to reach the link.

This link will open the modal window where a user can select a value from the  
However, when the page is scrolled, the results appear above the  
Auto-Complete control instead of appearing directly below the control.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure Local Action to launch Modal Window with  Auto-Complete.
2. Make sure having long section to be able to scroll to press the button for Local Action. Press button, Modal window will open.
3. Type a few characters in the Auto-Complete.
4. Observe the results will be displayed in wrong place.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules as deprecated Auto-Complete control has been used.


Use new pxAutoComplete control which features accurate calculations for popup position and takes in account also scroll position if that is needed
