BIX Command Line Parameters not working as expected

Summary



Below command line parameters are not working as expected.

-z <start key> Only extract instances with a pzInsKey equal to or greater than <start key>.
-Z <end key> Only extract instances with a pzInsKey equal to or less than <end key>.


When user gives a range like T-55 to T-57, its picking work cases T-5596, T-5598 and so on…..

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is software use/operation error. 


Resolution



The explanation for this behavior is as follows: The pzInskey value  is a string.  As a result the range of -z to -Z is a string range and not a numerical range.
