BIX extract fails due to past date in the request

Summary



BIX extract fails due to a date in the request.

Below is the XML request/case received with date 03/30/1871 for which BIX (Pega Job which extracts the data) generated an error because the job cannot support the DateTime value before the year 1901.

Steps to Reproduce

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is in a third-party product. There is a bug in the Oracle JDBC driver.

Resolution



This issue is resolved by making the following change to the operating environment:

Use the following version of the Oracle JDBC driver or later to address the bug noted below (9491954).
