BIX filter "Use Last Updated Time as Start" not working
SummaryReported for BIX 2.3.1 on PRPC 6.2 SP2
Work tables are stored in a separate schema called WorkSchema. The remaining PegaRULES tables are stored in a schema called RulesSchema.
When BIX extraction is run to extract data from a table in the WorkSchema, it does not add the filter option Last Updated Time as Start
Error MessagesSQL Exception could not get last update time
Steps to Reproduce1. Create a BIX extract.
2. Select the check box Use Last Updated Time as Start and run the extract.
3. Verify the PR_EXTRACT_TIME table.
Root CauseA defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules
BIX is not expecting there to be two (2) connections. Therefore, it mistakenly uses the WorkSchema connection for both querying the work table and the pr_extract_time table, which is in the RulesSchema. The fix for this problem is planned fo a future version of BIX.
ResolutionPerform the following local-change: SubsituteRulesSchema and WorkSchema with real names.
- Grant SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE on RulesSchema.pr_extract_time to WorkSchema;.
- Then for WorkSchema user, create a synonymn:
Create synonym pr_extract_time for RulesSchema.pr_extract_time;
