BIX rule not working as documented

Summary
The user is trying to add the filter criteria for BIX rule and encounters error.
Error Messages
**An invalid comparison value or an invalid column has been entered for the right-hand side of a filter condition: 'A'. Enter a valid column, calculation, or literal value.
Steps to Reproduce
Add below one of the below format in the filter criteria -
<Page>.<Property>
<D_Page>.<Property
<Param>.<ParamName>
Root Cause
An error in pega v7.1.6 help documnetation. The functionality that the user is trying to use is not supported in this version.
Resolution
The functionality that user is looking for is not supported in pega v7.1.6. The back port for this feature is not possible.
This feature is present in pega v7.2.2.
