Blank screen displays on application log in post upgrade



Post upgrade to Pega 8.2.1, a blank screen displays on logging in to the application.

Error Messages

The import sun.misc.BASE64Encoder cannot be resolved on pega_uiengine_offlinesupport

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Upgrade from Pega 7.4 to Pega 8.2.
  2. Log in to the application by entering the user ID and password

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.


Perform the following local-change:

Add '<env name="fua/enableSkipPreviousPegaFunction" value="true"/>' in the prConfig.xml file.

Alternatively, update to Pega 8.2.2.
