Blank space and headings are misaligned during printing



Blank spaces displays and headings are misaligned while printing the case. This occurs when using the Edge browser.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the application
  2. Scroll down to the Matters tab and click Print Matter Summary
  3. Select the checkbox of checkGrant information and select Search
  4. Click the Print button in the view screen. Data displays corretcly in the print preview, however, on sending it for print, the data displays incorrectly

Root Cause

This is as per Pega Product design.


Here's the explanation of the reported behavior:

In the Print document, there are blank spaces due to a section present at that position multiple times after a few layout details display. As a result, the section displays blank as the dynamic layout is blank and the When condition evaluates 'true'.
The misalignment of the headers varies with different print page sizes, A3,A4, et cetera.

To avoid the incorrect display, set the Layout mode to 'Optimized Code' for the two (headers based) dynamic layouts of the specific section.
