Error Messages
ERROR com.pega.pegarules.data.internal.access.ExtractImpl - unable to authenticate session for: SCHEDULINGAPPDATAEXTRACTOR
Steps to Reproduce
Run the command line script file manually from the server.
Root Cause
Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) still uses Pega 7 versions post upgrading. However, prlogging.xml is still in use and the explicit temp directory points to the Web node temp directory.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
- Update the application stack to use the latest Pega-BIX:08-02 version in the Designer Studio
- Copy the updated JAR files from Pega 8.2.2 distribution to lib directory of Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX)
- Replace prlogging.xml to use prlog4j2.xml
- Update prlog4j2.xml to use the server specific paths to log files
- Update prconfig.xml to include “<env name="asyncExecutor/enable" value="false" /> “ which resolves the stream service issues in PegaBIX.log
- Comment on the explicit temp directory in the prconfig.xml file
