Calendar issue

SA-9258

Summary



Application uses Email Listener, which includes Date processing. This part throws an error in the logs and the process fails (as activity status is FAIL).
This error appears for date time passed to the Business Calendar function where the following day is a non-business day. The calendar corresponding to Sat Apr 11 16:00:00 GMT 2015 or for the Mon Apr 13 06:16:14 GMT 2015 is null.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a Business calendar (Singapore time zone in this case). 
2. Define Mon-Fri (8-5 pm) as business hours. 
3. Do a difference with a current time (in business hours) and a time outside business hours when next day is a holiday. 
4. The result is calculated (incorrectly) and error is thrown in the Tracer and logs. 

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



Apply HFix-21899.
