Call-Async-Activity Method doesn't show the activity name

Summary



When viewing the details of a Call-Async-Activity method step, the activity name is not shown. However, it is saved. This issue only occurs if the parameters tab for the activity being referred to has no parameters on it.


Error Messages



Not applicable.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use the Call-Async-Activity Method in an activity.
  2. Specify as the target activity one without parameters.
  3. Observe that when re-opening the Call-Async-Activity method, the specified target activity is no longer shown.

Root Cause



The Pega code handling the presentation of the target activity name was not prepared for the possibility of there being no parameter list.

Resolution



Either use HFix-36149 or make sure the target activity has at least one parameter definied on its Parameters tab.
