Error Messages
PEGA0106 database deadlock detected. User 'mktdata' PID 5586 blocked by 'mktdata' PID 4908. Blocked statement was - TRUNCATE MKTSEGANNUAL_PLAN_MAIN. Steps to Reproduce
- Use a segment to configure multiple campaigns.
- Schedule the campaigns to run in parallel.
Root Cause
This behavior is as per Pega product design.
Resolution
Perform either of the following or both approaches such that the campaigns do not fail:
- Schedule campaigns that re-use a particular segment such that they do not overlap.
- Use Transactional Refresh (refer to the Pega Marketing User Guide).
