Cannot create a sample based on association

SA-19466

Summary

User Query:

When creating a Sample on a base level - "Customer" and trying to use properties in the association (Contract) getting an error message.

Does that mean if the "Customer" has Contracts, user cannot create a Sample (and hence an Analysis project) on data from the Contract?

Error Messages

ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended

Steps to Reproduce

1. In Pega Marketing, navigate to configuration> Segmentation Support:
2. Create a new Sample:
     a. Anticipated size : 10%
     b. Sample Strategy: Random
     c. Sample Fields: Select only Title and Gender
3. Save and run.

Root Cause

This is a known issue in the current version of the Pega Marketing product.

Although, this error is reported upon pressing the Run button prior to execution, it does not prevent the Sample from being Run.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in upcoming version of Pega Marketing 7.21.

User can still click Confirm in the Sample Run modal window. The Sample runs correctly and has correct results.

After that, user must be able to reference this Sample in an Analysis Project and run that.
