Cannot open a production work object



Unable to retrieve a production case: The case appeared in the search results on the portal and Designer Studio, but an error message appeared when attempted to open the case.

Error Messages

"Work object not found." "Unable to open an instance using the given input".

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Search the case in global search.
  2. Click the link to open the case.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules: pxCoveredInsKey of child case is missing in the parent case.


Perform the following local-change:
Write a simple activity as specified below to link the child case to parent case.
