Cannot parse xsi:type using Parse XML

Summary



The xsi:type value of elements must be obtained in an XML. However, error occurs when xsi:type is added as an attribute. 
On adding Type as a node name and using 'xsi' as type Name or type NamesPage, the value is not parsed.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a parse XML for an XML file (the file must have complex Types) property.
  2. Add Type as an attribute with the correct mapping. 
  3. Pass the XML as an input to execute the Parse XML rule.


Root Cause



The xsi:type attribute was not mapped on the Clipboard.


Resolution



Apply HFix-54856.
