Cannot save adaptive model when browser language is not English

Summary



With browser configured to use German as preferred language, saving an existing or creating a new adaptive model causes "Value should be between 0 and 1" error and adaptive model is not saved.
Happens in Explorer and Chrome, whether the values in English or in German notation is typed, for example it doesn't make any different if user enters "0,25" or "0.25". If browser language is set to English and restarted the problem stops and the model can be saved.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Open an existing adaptive model or create a new one.
2. Save this model


Root Cause



The type number has some cross browser issues with localization.

Resolution

Avoid the use of the HTML5 type "number" by using "text" instead".

Disable client side validation (harness level and flow action level)
