Error Messages
Values are not populating in the second Dynamic select based on first Dynamic select
Steps to Reproduce
From the 5 Tabs in the section
1.Select Tab 1
2.Select first Dynamic select, based on the value
3.Second Dynamic Select we are hiding
4.Now Select Tab 2
5.Select first Dynamic select, based on the value
6.Second Dynamic Select values are not Populating
(since the Tab 1 we have made the second Dynamic select as hidden)
ROOT CAUSE &
Resolution
User was passing the same selectID for the second dynamic select control in all the tabs. Therefore the values were not populating in the second Dynamic select as they were taking the same value given in the first tab.
This issue is resolved through the following local changes:
- Changing the load mode of the dynamic select control from dynamic to "Auto".
- Passing a unique id to the second dynamic select control for every tab in order to display data.
