Cascading error messages on click of save in case worker portal



Whenever there are error messages seen on the UI, if they take any action on that screen such as delete, Save, Submit, the number of error messages get cascaded or increase in number every time.

This is observed for case worker portal. This is not happening for case manager portal.

Error Messages

Duplicate values exist.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In a repeating grid, make sure that two rows have two column information the same that is, duplicate values for two columns.
2. Observe that while saving it, error messages are thrown.
3. Save it again, the error messages will cascade.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: Side-effect of another fix. Wrong parameters are passed to isAncestor() method, corrected them and kept check on domEle(reloadElement).
