Case details in print preview are editable

Summary



User noticed that in classic portal ( non composite ) , if they are in perform harness and click the print icon on top, before the printer selection box appears , the harness remains editable giving the user the chance to edit the fields before print


Steps to Reproduce



Login in classic portal.

If you are in perform harness,click the print icon on top.

Before the printer selection box appears , the harness remains editable giving the user the chance to edit the fields before print.



Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is "
the harness remains editable giving the user the chance to edit the fields before print".


Resolution





Fig 1 : Use the print icon on harness level and not the print icon which is present on portal level as the portal level print icon cant be supported for this feature



Fig 2 : Click of the print icon loads the printView harness. Please save it at your end and put the section which you want to display in  print 



Fig 3 : Make sure that you have harnee_print.js included in the harness Script and Styles tab




Fig 4: The container included in the harness , mark it as read only as well.





Fig 5 :At runtime when you click the print icon,  the print  pop up appear like this and the harness as you can see at back is read only.
