Case got resolved as partially completed without submission



A merchandiser at the outlet clicks on the partial Complete button to resolve a case. However, the merchandiser does not complete the case by clicking the Submit button and providing the case information. Instead, the user returns to the User dashboard. The case status changes to partially completed; but the case is not resolved correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Start travel > Arrive at outlet > Partial complete.
  2. Do not provide any Partial complete information.
  3. Click the User dashboard. Verify the Audit information. The Partial completed field event is not created since the case is not resolved correctly.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The status change occurred when menu items were selected instead of the Finish assignment.
