Case type French name displays in dashboard instead of English

A field value is created for a case type name in the French ruleset of pyCaption type.
The dashboard in the application displays the case type name stored in the pyLabel property. When a case is created in French, the pylabel stores the translated case type name in the pyLabel. When the screen is submitted and the case transitions to the next stage (to an English user), the French name of the case type displays in dashboard.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a field value of pyCaption type for a case type name in the French ruleset.
  2. Create a case in French.
  3. Submit the screen and move to the next stage. When an English user opens the application, the French name of the case type displays on the dashboard instead of English.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules
When a case is created in one locale, the pyLabel is updated with the localized value in the server. Hence, when the case is opened in another locale, it attempts to localize the localized value.

Perform the following local-change:

Override the pyLabel value to @lookup("pyLabel", "Rule-Obj-Class", "pyClassName", primary.pxObjClass, "") in the pyDefault data transform in -work class. Ruleset is Available, hence can be modified.
