Changes made to decision table not reflecting on import and save

SA-65643

Summary

A decision table is exported to delete empty rows. After the rows are deleted, the decision table is imported from Excel and the decision table rule is saved. On save, the empty rows continue to display.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Export a decision table which has empty rows.
  2. Delete the empty rows in Excel.
  3. Import the decision table.
  4. Save the decision table rule.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.

The 'Allowed to return values' option was not checked for the decision table.
For decision tables, the number of rows are determined by the count of pyResults. While importing, this was not enabled. Hence, the previous captured values were used to calculate the row count.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Check the 'Allowed to return values' option in the Results tab.
