Changes to style sheet aren't reflected in the harness

SA-6609

Summary

Developer has a preview harness for printing a form containing data from a work object. In the preview harness, there are borders around each of the values being displayed. When he prints the form, most of the borders are not appearing in the PrintView harness, and therefore do not appear in the printed hard copy or PDF file. Both the preview harness and the printview harness have the same style sheet added to them.

Error Messages

Not applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the preview harness, click the Print icon to bring up the PrintView harness.
2. Print the harness to either a PDF file or actual hardcopy.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. The style sheet added to PrintView harness does not get saved. The harness rule saves, but the added style sheet is discarded. However, the style sheet remains listed on the "Scripts and styles" tab, so it appears that it has been successfully added. Only if you close and reopen the harness rule will you see the style sheet no longer listed. Because the style sheet has not really been added, any styles contained in it are not applied.
