Character entity reference is not converted as symbol in UI



Field Value label displays HTML code for character value instead of non-alphanumeric character. For example, &#39  is not displayed like an apostrophe.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In PRPC 6.2SP2, Create a "field value" rule in which have "Character Entity reference".
  2. Refer this field value in the label of a property rule.
  3. Upgrade that "field value" rule from PRPC 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.1.7.

Root Cause

In Pega 7, it is an expected behavior that the field values will show the translated text for it which is the same as in PRPC 6.


Change the ASCII codes used for the special characters to plain special character text.
