Checkbox caption text is not visible when it is set as read only



Captions configured on checkboxes are not visible when they is set as read-only.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Include a Checkbox control in a section
  2. Configure the Checkbox control properties to have a Caption text
  3. Make the field read-only
  4. Execute the case

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules - The ‘Display caption when read only’ checkbox in the presentation tab of control's property was not selected.


Perform the following local-change:

Select the checkbox ‘Display caption when read only’ in the presentation tab of the Checkbox property.
