CheckInCandidates are getting created for rules

SA-6403

Summary



User has reported errors in log file related to RequestorThreadLock. When user was trying to Check-Out and Check-In any Rule(s), CheckInCandidates were getting created and when they click-on Check-In option, it says Rule already exists.

Error Messages



Rule already exists

Steps to Reproduce



Check-Out any Rule -> make any change -> Save -> Check-In. It says that rule already exists.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment. 

Resolution



Rule going to CheckInCandidates workbasket were part of PRPC Check-in Approval process. If user do not want to use this feature, then user has been advised to uncheck the "Approval Required" checkbox on the Ruleset rule form. After doing this; any subsequent Check-In process can be done directly without the interference of CheckInCandidates ruleset.
