Chrome renders <pega:reference> with HTML tags in Word document

Summary



Developer  uses out-of-the-box (OOTB) WordMergedDoc functionality for generating Word document, and also uses {pega:reference propertyreference } in MS Word.
But after sometimes approximately upto 30 minutes, that tag renders with strange HTML tags. This bug occurs only in chrome browser. With IE 11 it works fine.



Steps to Reproduce



Use OOTB CreateWordMerge Doc in the flow and run it.

Root Cause



The root cause of this bug is page passivation.

Resolution




This issue is resolved through the following local change:

1. Use <env name="timeout/browser" value="14400"/>
line of code in prconfig.xml file.
2. Restart the server.
