Summary

When using a list view circumstanced based on a property and embedded in a section, the base list view runs instead of the circumstanced rule at run time. You confirm the property and its value are there in the workpage so the circumstanced rule should have been picked. When the same list view is called in an activity, its working (its taking the correct circumstanced version).

Error Messages

Results are not returned based on the circumstanced rule, its displaying results based on the base rule.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a list view and circumstance it based on a property
2. Call this list view in a section
3. Incorporate that section into a harness
4. View the harness at runtime

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. Instead of passing the primary page which has the circumstance property details, a new page was always created. Since the new page does not have circumstance property details the circumstanced list view was not called.

Resolution

This issue is resolved by hotfix item HFix-20147
