ClassNotFoundException in PegaRULES log file



Customer observed log file error "ClassNotFoundException" appearing multiple times throughout the day.

Error Messages

093 [   WebContainer : 26] [TABTHREAD2] [     MyApp:01.01.01] (l.library.LibraryMetadataCache) ERROR [server]|xx.yy.z.a [user] - Problem invoking function: pega_uiengine_pzcontrol.pzGenerateLinkOrButton--(Clipboab4dcc1531e1c4d576c7e21b7e74a2550
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.pegarules.generated.pzGenerateLinkOrButton_060225_JDbVJtvau8UBWoKALglWBg

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start system.
  2. Review logfile after startup is complete.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. Several Pega functions were not present in correct locations.


This issue is resolved by HFix-7476 and HFix-6657.
