Clicking on link from EMAIL opens project in a separate window

SA-29604

Summary

Scenario: User is trying to notify the end users about the status of the workobject at every stage of its processing in form of an email and the email also contains the link to open the work object.

Issue: When user click on the work object link, it opens the application and also opens the work object but as a modal pop up window.

Also each time the user clicks on the link, it opens application every time separately and the work object pop ups, resulting in multiple application windows and pop ups opened.

User has upgraded from PPRC 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.1.9. In the previous version, on click of the link it used to launch the application alone with the workobject opened as a tab inside the application itself.

This expected behavior is lost after upgrade and hence creating the issue.
