Client side validation not working on grid level

Summary
Developer has created a grid with one required column. During run-time user is not getting any validation error even if the required column value is empty for some records.
The point here to note that there are no flow actions involved. The section is used just to display a 360 degree View.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a grid with one required column.
2. During run-time, keep this required column as blank.
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules: The "Enable client side validation" on harness was unchecked.
Resolution
Check the "Enable Client side validation" on advanced tab of harness.
