Summary

There is a field of type text where Out-of-the-box (OOTB) Rich Text control is used in UI to capture the value. In the audit tab, Old Value and New Value field values are storing the values of fields not the formatting used in UI.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Change the value of a field which is displayed in UI as Rich Text.
2. Check the value of this field in Audit Tab. It comes up with the html tags.

Root Cause

Html tags appearing in old value or new value columns, when the property is displayed in RTE control.

Possible solution to have oldValue or newValue properties displayed in RichTextDisplay format.
