Comma in amount value in inbound message is parsed as a dot

When an inbound message contains an amount value with a comma, the application parses the comma (,) as a dot.

For example: 15,783 is parsed as 15.78.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a New Message case.
  2. Navigate to Work information of the Message case.
  3. Click the Details section. Parse the data. The Amount is parsed incorrectly.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

The parsing logic in Parse Transform ValueWithCCD is such that if there are three digits or less after the comma (,), then the comma is considered as a fraction separator.

Apply HFix-43352.
