Comparision of date and date time properties fails

SA-16881

Summary

  • When date value is set to datetime property using property-set, Time part is generated as 0000000. Is this an expected behavior?
  • There is a requirement to run agent activity on different country timezones. However, agent runs on Server timezone.

Resolution

  • This is an expected behavior. Date property contains only day, month and year components. If you assign it to a datetime property, it will consider the start time of any day which is 000000.
  • Agent runs always server time zone.
