Pega application does not support Compatibility view.
Resolution
Here's an explanation for the reported behavior:
Change of Compatibility view requires changing the document type of the browser to lower level like Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8 which does not support latest HTML controls.
As Pega is built on HTML5, many controls are not supported in Compatibility view.
