Compilation errors on start-up after the PRPC upgrade

SA-20296

Summary

When starting an upgraded (PRPC 6.x to Pega 7) application and observe a variety of compilation errors were thrown for Agent and Batch processes. Logging into the application (as [email protected]) results in a broken portal based on compilation exceptions as well. The application is not presently in a usable state based on these errors.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Upgrade the PRPC 6.x version to Pega 7.1.9
  2. Access the Designer Studio after completing the PRPC upgrade.

Root Cause

The upgraded Applications were still pointing to PRPC 5.4 rulesets.

Resolution

Reported issues were resolved after changing all the Applications to point from PEGARULES 5.4 to PEGARULES 7.10.
