Composite portal does not prevent work in the different IE tabs

Summary



Composite user portal does not throw multiple window warning. For example, if pressing Ctrl + k a copy of IE tab in the developer or fixed portal is opened, user receives the following message: 'You have an existing PRPC session running. Close this window. Try to locate the existing PRPC session and close this one...'.

Error not returned for the composite portal.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a composite portal with user role.
2. Alternatively, include the "Manager" portal in the access group and launch that.
3. Launch the portal.
4. Open a duplicate tab by Ctrl+K.
5. This does not prevent the opening of the portal through multiplewindowwarning.

Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules that prevents opening of the OOTB multiplewindowwarning HTML rule.

Resolution



HFix-4126 resolves this issue.
