ConcurrentModificationException is blocking sync queues

Summary



The number of agent's queues are blocked and not synced to the server due to a ConcurrentModificationException. This affects select agents and is systemic for those agents. Most of the queues are long with older items.

Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems' code or rules is identified as root cause for the issue.

Resolution

  1. Apply HFix-30822.
  2. Restart the application server.
  3. Apply HFix-30574.
