"Confirm Close" modal mis-alligned after 'Cancel'

SA-32255

Summary

When user click on the 'Close' button in the perform harness for the second time the 'Confirm Close' pop up message does not appear properly(getting destorted) and it is difficult for the user to close the Case. This is happening in Case manager 7 Portal (pyCaseManager7) which is Pega Out-of-the-box (OOTB).

This issue only occurs with Google Chrome and Mozila Firefox browser, with Internet Explorer, the close button functionality is working fine.
The confirm close message is very narrow but the 'Save' , 'Discard' and 'Cancel' buttons can be reached on normal size.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Case.
  2. Now fill in some values and click the Close button for the first time. Confirm Close pop up appears properly.
  3. Now on click of Cancel button the pop up closes.
  4. Now again when user click on the Close button for the second time the message does not appear properly.

Root Cause

On resize event, browser calculates height and width to 0. So modal dialog got shrink.

Resolution

Place the below script in UserWorkForm HTML fragment to overwrite the callback on resize:
<script>
pega.ui.Doc.prototype.modalResizeCB = function() {
if(pega && pega.u && pega.u.d && pega.u.d.bModalDialogOpen) {
pega.util.Dom.addClass("modalWrapper", "resized");
$("#modalContent").height('100%');
$("#modalContent").width('100%');

};
</script>
