Content does not display in the downloaded PDF files



On changing the storage to Repository in the Application settings, content does not display in the downloaded PDF files.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the Application.
  2. In the Application settings, change storage to Repository.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

In AddAttachmentFromMail, in Java Step 5, the pxStorageType was not set to Repository when the S3 repository was enabled. Hence, the link-attachment instance did not have the pxStrorageType property. As a result, the content did not display in the downloaded files.


Perform the following local-change:

Add the below code in Java Step 5:

else if(app.getString("pyRepositoryEnabled").equals("true")){
