Control does not work when configured to 'Inherit from property'



A grid is sourced by a Data Page. Each pxResults holds a property pyResolvedTimestamp with a valid value. When the property in the grid cell is configured with a control as 'Inherit from property', at runtime there is no value rendered in this grid cell.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure a Data Page with a list of work objects (e.g., PegaSample-Task) where each pxResult has a pyResolvedTimestamp property and a valid value.
2. Create a section, configure a repeat grid, on the grid cell properties configure a control that 'Inherit from Property'.
3. Check if the value is displayed in this grid cell at runtime.

Root Cause

This is an issue when you use reference a property from a Data page and choose to 'Inherit from Property'


Perform the following local-change:

Instead of using 'Inherit from Property', use the Date time control and use the below formatting options for display.
